I made this wreath out of the pages of a vintage dictionary. I didn't ink the edges of the papers thinking that the yellowing of the paper was vintage enough. I used Websters Pages pleated ribbon and Tule for the bow.

December Charm Swap ** Closed**

*** Update*** I am still waiting on a few charms, I have contacted all parties and they assure me that they are on the way, sorry for the delay, I will have them out as soon as I have all of them. They are all ready to be packed up! Thanks!

Please join me in December Charm Swap. This is the 7th month that I will be hosting this and it is a lot of fun and addicting! I absolutely love charms that hang off tags, mini’s, pages etc. and can’t seem to get enough of them. There are so many kinds available that it is impossible to collect them all.
Please comment on my Youtube or my Blog and include your EMAIL ADDRESS so that it is easier to send you updates.
This swap will be open to everyone to join. (US, Canada and International)
This will be a 7+1 swap, you will get one back.
• Each Charm should include a swivel clasp, garment pin or something to attach it to a tag or mini.
• A charm, either handmade or store bought (attached to the garment pin or swivel clasp)
• A bead or button.
• Please include your name and youtube/blog name.

PLEASE be fair to everyone participating. If you’re unable to continue the swap, please notify me asap. I would like for everyone who has signed up to be able to receive as many as they have sent to me.

Include a SASE (self addressed stamped envelope) with at last the same amount of postage as it took to mail me. Also include 2 extra stamps if needed. I will send them back if not needed. PLEASE NO METERED strips. I would be happy to paypal the international swappers.

I will have groups of 8 and will sign people up in the order of comments received.
Thank you for participating. If you don’t have my address, please email me once you are ready to mail out and I will send to you. My email address is cindy@smsrecruiters.com.

These need to be in my hands no later than January 1, 2010 I would like to mail out on January 5th.

Thank you for joining me, it's a lot of fun!!

I am still working on my 2010 Christmas cards, and boy is it taking a long time with all of the cutting out of images. I usually make about 60 of them to send out, Hopefully I will have them completed this weekend and will have them in the mail by the end of the week. I used the Tim Holt's stamps on this and Distress Inks. The cards do not open up, it is just the front image and out Christmas picture and greeting on the back side. I found all of these cards and matching envelopes at an estate sale several years ago and have finally come up with an idea to use them.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Here is another project that I made using a frame that I found at a local Thrift store. I am finally putting together some things to decorate my desk at my new job. I love how this turned out, I knew that I wanted to run crinkled seam binding through the frame and add one of the charms from my charm swap.

Altered Thrift Store Gazebo

I love finding unique things to alter. Here is a gazebo that I found at a thrift store and I knew that it would look pretty with flowers from I am Roses and Michaels plus metal embellishments. I colored the flowers with Lindy's stamp gang stains and Glimmer Glam.
