*** CLOSED***
I am so excited to offer a Charm Swap on my Blog. I absolutely love charms that hang off tags, mini’s, pages etc. and can’t seem to get enough of them  There are so many kinds available that it is impossible to collect them all.

This swap will be open to everyone to join. (US, Canada and International)

This will be a 7+1 swap, you will get one back.
• Each Charm should include a swivel clasp, garment pin or something to attach it to a tag or mini.
• A charm, either handmade or store bought (attached to the garment pin or swivel calsp)
• A bead or button.
• Please include your name and youtube/blog name.

Please be fair to everyone participating. If you’re unable to continue the swap, please notify me asap. I would like for everyone who has signed up to be able to receive as many as they have sent back.

Include a SASE with at last the same amount of postage as it took to mail me. Also include 2 extra stamps if needed. I will send them back if not needed. PLEASE NO METERED strips.

I will have 3 groups of 8 and will sign people up in the order of the comments on this blog entry and/or to keep it fair. I will close the cwap once the groups are filled.

Thank you for participating. If you don’t have my address, please email me once you are ready to mail out and I will send to you. My email address is cindy@smsrecruiters.com.

Youtube Video of my new Kit

This is a new kit that I have for sale on my Etsy store made out of the Tim Coffey Tuscan Sunflower papers. This paper collection is so beautiful, I love the colors and the feel of summer. Included is Eight 6x6 medium weight chipboard piecez plus 51 sheets of the designer papers and 6 solid color pieces of cardstock. It is loaded with embellishments, flowers, buttons, and fibers along with a new stamp, stamp pad, glitter glue and a tag chipboard book. There is enough to make more than one book.

Relaxing at the Beach Tag with Lindy's Stamp Gang Stains

This is the tag that I made for the swap on Arlene's Blog, My Butterfly Kisses. I had so much fun creating this tag, the theme was Beach. I am so ready to be rid of this rain and ready for the sun!! Thanks Arlene for putting this together, I know that it is a lot of work!

This is the May tag that I Made for the Swap on Marie's blog, ThePretty Paper Boutique. The theme was to use a vintage lady and to distress as much as possible. I had a lot of fun making this tag and can't wait to see what eveyone else does.

The image came from Tammy Tutterow's site http://tammytutterow.com/

Challenge #5 Think outside the Box

The object of this challenge was to create a card or layout with No Right Angles. This is what I came up with.

Challenge #2 Stencil This

The object of this challenge was to use a mask or stencil to make out own paper. I finally used the Heidi Swap Mask that I have had for 5+ years :-)

Challenge #3 Sketches

The next challenge was to make a layout or card based on a sketch. This is what I came up with.

Challenge #4 Color Crazy

The fourth challenge is to create a project using two primary colors and their secondary color. Primary colors are red, blue, and yellow. Secondary colors are green (blue + yellow), orange (red + orange), and purple (red + blue). You can use any shade of these colors (i. e. light blue, pink, pale yellow, etc), but you must pick two primary colors and use their secondary color. You can not mix any of the colors (no blue green, etc). You can also use black and white.
I used yellow and blue to make green.

Bonus Challenge #1 Kick Me

I am totally excited about this challenge, I have a cricut, but do not have a Sizzix big enough for the Tim Holtz Dies. I am drooling over all of the cool projects that people have made with the new dies.

The challenge was to hand cut items for the project. The three items that I hand cut were the lopsided tip note, flowers and butterfly. I need help! Kathryn, please Kick Me!

Challenge #1 I must have that tool

This was a good challenge to complete, I HAD to have the SU markers and bought them about 8 years ago. They still work but most are a little dry. I have not gotten into the new Copic Marker craze yet, but you never know :-) I used an image and colored it with the markers, I then took a paint brush and sipped it in the Tattered Rose Glimmer Mist and went over the entire image. I cut it out and added some pearls and one of my flowers. Thanks for looking.

"Heart Challenges" Challenge #11

The eleventh challenge was to use a past challenge from another month with a new project.

I had a lot of fun completing the challenges from March and my favorite was Challenge #5 "Omigod! It's a Scrunchie" I've been having fun greating flowers out of dictionary paper scrunched up after spraying them with mists.

Challenge #2 Chirp Chirp

This was a fun challenge, I love my Cricut, but don't use it on every project like I should. I had fun creating this card for my Daughter to send to her at College. I can't believe that she only has one more week of her first year of college. I am looking forward to her coming home, it is hard to be the only girl in the house :-) The object was to use 3 different cartridges. I used Mothers Day, George and Home Accents.

No Pictures? No Problem! Challenge # 12

"For the twelfth challenge, you must create a layout that has NO pictures. Pick an event that you have no pictures for and scrap it. Remember the day through your journaling and choice of embellishments.

The prize for this challenge is Canon Pixma iP600. If the winner is a USA resident, they will receive the printer. If the winner lives outside the USA, they will receive a gift card to the online scrapbooking store of their choice. No exceptions! If you are in the USA & already have a photo printer, you are not eligible for a gift card. If you do not agree, then please do not enter this challenge."

I chose to use an Art Journal Page from a Vacation to Silver Dollar City. I did not use any pictures on this Journal entry. I used a flyer from Silver Dollar City, tore it up and colored over it with pastels. That was a fun Mini trip with my family.

"Tag You're It" Challenge #9

****For the ninth challenge, you must create a project using a tag. It can be a layout, card, etc. The only requirement is that it must include a tag.

To participate, create a layout or project that includes a tag. The layout may be any size {12"x12", 8.5"x11", 8"x8", 6"x12", etc.} and can be either a one-page or two-page layout. This challenge also lends itself well to a card, art journal page or other art project.

Happy Mothers Day Challenge #6

I was not able to participate in the 24 hour crop on May 1st, but I am trying to complete as many challenges as I can today. I bet the ladies on the beach had a great time yesterday. The challenges look like a lot of fun, I'll be completing them out of order. Here is the first one. (or rather the 6th one)

***The sixth challenge is to make a project that is either for a mother or involves a mother. Are you a mom? Well, create a layout with you and your children. With Mother’s Day approaching, you can also make something for your mom. Let’s make mom happy with this challenge!

To participate, create a layout or project that involves a mom. It can either be for your mom or layout with you and your children. The layout may be any size {12"x12", 8.5"x11", 8"x8", 6"x12", etc.} and can be either a one-page or two-page layout. This challenge also lends itself well to a card, art journal page or other art project.
