Another Mini for the Treasure Chest
Here is another Mini that I created for my treasure chest of Mini's of our vacation to Mexico a couple of years ago. As you can see the treasure chest will not close any more, but that is ok, the treasures are spilling over like a real treasure chest, lol.
I used Authentique "Fresh" Collection for this album. I love their papers and embellishments! I wanted this album to stay flat so I did not use any thick embellishments on this one. (that was hard for me)
Thanks for checking in, Happy Tuesday!

Coasters made with Graphic 45 Papers
Wow 2 posts in one day! Thanks for checking in again. I created these coasters using some left over tiles that I had from redoing our bathroom. They are the perfect size for coasters. This is a very simple project, all you need is 4x4 tiles, paper, Mod Podge and peel and stick felt for the bottom of the tile.
I used the beautiful Graphic 45 collections, On the Boardwalk and Christmas Past. First I cut a 3 3/4 piece of paper, distressed the edges with Distress Ink and then fussy cut images for the top. I plan on making several more sets to give away as gifts for Christmas. This is a great way to use up your scraps!
Thank you Note
I simply love this image from La La Land Crafts so cute!! I paper pieced the robe and used prisma pencils on the hair and skin. I used Oak Leaf Olive Mica Powder from Lindy's Stamp Gang on the robe trim and umbrella and Lindy's Gator Gumbo Starburst Stain on the Fan. The fan is from Diana McRay Wood Veneers, I love them!!
The paper is from an old collection from Club Scrap. This is the first time that I have tried this paper, great quality!!

Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue Mini
Wednesday, August 8, 2012
Thanks for stopping by! I created this easel card using the Graphic 45 Tropical Travelogue collection which is perfect for a summer birthday. Soon I will post an album that I created for my Treasure chest of Mini's from our Mexico trip a few years ago using this collection. The cutouts on the front of the card were taken from the packaging from the paper pack, the back side.

This is my first easel card that I attempted and it was actually very simple. I searched YouTube for tutorials and took tips and ideas from several different ones. This card uses the Tim Holtz baroque die, the papers and stickers are from DCWV that I received from a friend. The flowers are from I am Roses. I can see myself making a lot more of these soon! Thanks for stopping by!

St. Louis Cardinals Opening Day at work
Celebrating the St. Louis Cardinals Opening Day at work. We were allowed to wear Cardinal Gear to work that day! I used one of my favorite companies for the papers, Authentique,"Glory is the shadow of viutue" I was worried about using the bright di-cut with these vintage colors but it worked. I made the flowers using my Martha Stewart score board. I distressed all of the edges and used Tea Dye Distress Ink. The ribbons are seam binding stained with Glimmer Mist and Lindy's Stamp Gang. I am going to hang this in my cube at work so I backed it with chip board to make it sturdier.
Happy Memorial Week-end!

It's been forever since I have been to my blog much less posted, I think about it all of the time and I'm going to try and post something at least every week, more if possible! This is a card that I saw on Pinterest and I made it my own with K&Company Confetti. I could not find the instructions so I winged it. This was fun especially with the die cuts and border strips that match the paper.
I need to search around to find some instructions for this card so that I can make it with the correct dimensions and recreate it often.
